Coco Flint has spent a lifetime collecting color, from the beaches of Laguna to the gardens and landscapes that have followed her ever since. Her paintings are expressionist at heart, chasing the feeling of nature rather than its likeness, with a boldness of color that is entirely her own.

The artist draws on historical references in art which include flower representation and symbolism relating to the phases in a woman's life. She works through meditative brushstrokes to transcend these representations and to embody the emotions that flowers evoke such as feminine love and strength.
Prior to focusing on painting full-time, the artist worked in Fashion for the luxury house of GUCCI for seventeen years where she honed her eye and passion for shapes, colors and the ethereal.
Flint studied art and art history while attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and studied painting at The Art Students League of New York and New York Academy of Art. Flint lives and works in New York.
